CFU Women’s U-17 Qualifying Tournament Final Stage…
Following their first-round triumph, Guyana’s Lady Jags have commenced preparations ahead of the Final Stage of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Under-17 Qualifying Tournament.
Under the guidance of Head Coach Lyndon France, the Lady Jags commenced encampment yesterday for the all important Group E matches which will be hosted by Jamaica from November 29 to December 3.
The other countries competing in Reggae Island are the Twin Island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and the Bahamas which is coached by Guyanese Paul James. Twenty-one local players have been called up by the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) to vie for the available spots on the travelling team. Three overseas based players in Sara Vaughn, Leah Chisholm-Alison and Kailey Leila have made themselves available for the Jamaica games.
The local list of players are: Prescilla Allan, Althea Holligan, Jenell Browne, Tasnica Lovell, Keisha Gordon, Anaida Walker, Keishell Moore, Keshanna Hunte, Rachel Subick, Beverly Rodrigues, Sasha Loo, Sheneeze Henry, Kerry Thomas, Fatima Domingo, Junita Ernest, Erica Juan, Dian Mandokin, Urseline Primus, Shonette Gasper, Everne Ambrose and Alicia Simpson.
France will be assisted by Chevon Monchior, Andrea Fredericks and Ronette Cort (Goalkeeper Coach). Ayana Chase is the Physio while Rawle Adams is the Manager.
